Accounting firm moving headquarters in King Farm

Aronson & Co., a major national accounting firm, is moving to bigger headquarters next year a few doors down the block to the newest office building in Rockville‘s Irvington Centre.

The company signed a lease for 75,000 square feet in Four Irvington Centre, a 220,000-square-foot project completed last year. America’s Capital Partners of Miami acquired the property last year, giving it total ownership in the Irvington Centre park of about 750,000 square feet, including three other buildings.

Aronson plans to move from One Irvington in May to Four Irvington, which is assessed at $37.5 million. The lease ends a search for space to grow that began more than a year ago.

The complex is near major traffic arteries, including Interstate 270 and Route 355 and is within walking distance of the Shady Grove Metro station.

Aronson was represented by William Herman and Eric May of Monument Realty and worked with Brian Katz and Michael Gribbon of America’s Capital Partners to negotiate the lease. In addition to working with its consultants at Monument Realty, Aronson retained Hickok Cole Architects of Washington to design the new offices.
