HSBC extends banking services

HSBC customers can now make more of their Saturday mornings. In a bid to offer more convenience to customers, HSBC has enhanced its evening banking services with extended opening hours now available at its branches in Birkirkara, Hamrun and San Gwann.

This brings the number of branches offering evening service to eight. Branches which continue to offer this service are Mosta, Paola, Valletta (Republic Street), Sliema (High Street) and Victoria, Gozo.

These branches are open from 4 to 7 p.m. from Monday to Friday, all year round. A full range of banking services are offered, except for cash transactions which are offered during normal banking hours.

However, cash transactions are always available on a 24-hour basis from all HSBC ATMs.

The evening banking service normally offered from the Balzan branch is now being relocated to the B’Kara Branch.

“In our continued efforts to offer a complete and flexible package to our customers, we are now enhancing our evening service by adding three conveniently located branches,” said HSBC’s head of Personal Services, Godfrey Swain. “Customers can see to their banking needs or seek financial advice in the afternoons from Monday to Friday, leaving them sufficient free time to spend on leisure activities with their loved ones on Saturday mornings, when many people normally see to their banking needs. Our branches will of course remain open to welcome the public on Saturdays as always.”
