No change in fees for TN self-financing medical collegesThe Tamil Nadu Government on Monday announced that self-financing medical colleges in the state would continue with last year's fee structure for the new academic year also.
An official release here said the Justice N V Balasubramanian Committee set up to determine the fee structure had recommended that the same fee structure fixed last year should be followed for 2008-09. Accordingly, the fees for the Chettinad Medical College would be Rs three lakh, with a recommendation for 15 per cent concession for economically poor students.
