No change in fees for TN self-financing medical colleges
The Tamil Nadu Government on Monday announced that self-financing medical colleges in the state would continue with last year's fee structure for the new academic year also.
An official release here said the Justice N V Balasubramanian Committee set up to determine the fee structure had recommended that the same fee structure fixed last year should be followed for 2008-09.
Accordingly, the fees for the Chettinad Medical College would be Rs three lakh, with a recommendation for 15 per cent concession for economically poor students.
The fee for the PSG Medical College would be Rs 2.25 lakh while that of Moogambikai Medical College Rs 2.40 lakh.
