Factoring growth slows to a crawl

Recent statistics released by the factoring companies trade association indicate that the number of clients using factoring and invoice discounting showed minimal growth in the first quarter of 2008 compared to the same quarter in the previous year.

The number of companies using domestic factoring actually dropped slightly which when one considers the number of new companies being signed up every month shows that there must be substantial numbers of factoring clients dropping by the wayside for whatever reason.
