Austock starts financial planning

Melbourne broking house and wealth manager Austock Group Limited will open a financial planning division next week with a team poached from Ord Minnett.

The team of five include John Short, previously Victorian practice manager for Ord Minnett Financial Planning, and senior financial planners Carol Hay and Vince Novelli.

All have more than 20 years in the financial services industry and over 12 years advising at Ord Minnett.

Austock Financial Planning opens for business on June 16.
