Workshop to be offered June 19 on financial planning for retirement
As part of an intermittent series of financial education courses, Stanford Benefits is offering a free workshop on Thursday, June 19, that focuses on how to stay on track for retirement without short-changing other financial goals.
The workshop teaches the skills needed to plan for inflation, manage risk, address issues related to aging and protect your investment portfolio. Conducted by an independent firm called Financial Knowledge, the workshop includes a 50-page workbook to keep for future reference.
To sign up, go to the Stanford Training and Registration System (STARS) in Axess and enroll in "Building Your Wealth—Retirement Planning for Mid-Career." The workshop will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in Room 140, 651 Serra St.
