DIRECTOR OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLGY SERVICES

Chinook's Edge School Division No. 73 invites applications for a Director of Educational Technology Services effective August 15, 2008. The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

Proven classroom teaching experience integrating technology into the curriculum
Proven leadership abilities in the area of integration of technology and curriculum
Primary Functions:

To facilitate the integration of technology into every classroom, school and administrative office.

To be responsible for the management functions associated with technology research, planning, selection, acquisition, configuration, maintenance, deployment and support.

To provide, coordinate and arrange technology-related professional development activities for administrators, teachers and support staff as appropriate.

To provide support for the electronic gathering and distribution of information.

To coordinate Division One-to-One and Distributed Learning projects.
