Wells Fargo offers support to customers in Lincoln City impacted by recent storms

Company donates $5,000 to aid in disaster relief in Lincoln City

Wells Fargo is offering special assistance to Lincoln City customers affected by recent storms and extensive flooding. This area has been declared a federal disaster area; customers may be eligible for individual assistance by FEMA.

Well Fargo will donate $5,000 to Lincoln City Food Pantry to aid local relief efforts. The gift is part of the $50,000 the financial services company will donate to nonprofit agencies in Oregon and Washington to help local residents in the recovery process.


Wells Fargo customers impacted by the flooding and storms are encouraged to contact their personal bankers, relationship managers and to visit their nearest Wells Fargo store to discuss financial options. Customers also can contact Wells Fargo 24/7 at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557).

"We are reaching out to help our neighbors, friends, families and customers who have been adversely affected by recent storms and flooding," said Pat Brooks, manager of Wells Fargo's banking store in Lincoln City. "We plan to work with each of our customers on an individual basis because we know that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. We want to help our customers succeed financially, especially during what could be a difficult time during recovery."

Customer assistance available includes:

€ Several programs and services are available for small business customers including emergency credit line increases, Credit Protection activation, skip-a-payment (BREF, Card, Line, and SBA), fee waivers, term and bridge loans, and case-by-case assistance.

€ Affected customers with existing home mortgages, home equity lines/loans or personal credit management accounts should call to inquire about payment options available to qualified customers.

€ Unsecured loans ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 at a special rate are available to qualified customers in the affected areas.

€ All impacted Wells Fargo Credit Card, ATM Card and Check Card customers are encouraged to call their local banker or the toll-free customer service number (1-800-TO-WELLS). Customer service representatives are available 24/7.

€ Affected federal and private student loan customers can call Wells Fargo for assistance and to discuss payment options.

€ Wells Fargo will work with commercial clients who were impacted by the storms.

€ Affected customers with existing merchant services accounts should call contact Wells Fargo 24/7 at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557) to inquire about payment options available to qualified customers.

€ Borrowers filing an insurance claim need specific documentation, yet documents may have been destroyed or be difficult to obtain. Wells Fargo maintains copies of many of those documents and is helping to facilitate the insurance claim process.
