Section Rouge Media sells its crossword magazines

Section Rouge Media Inc. (TSXV:SRO) has sold its crossword magazines, as well as the Horoscope-Quotidien title, have been sold for $230,000 cash, the publishing company announced Thursday.

It's the latest divestment for the Section Rouge Media, which says it's focusing on publications offering higher potential for growth and profitability.

On Monday, the company said it is selling its subsidiary Image In Media Inc. back to a group headed by its original owners, Pierre Bernatchez and Luigi Porco.

Image In Media Inc. publishes about 30 magazine and game titles for Section Rouge.

Section Rouge said in Thursday's announcement that 4366832 Canada Inc., based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, bought the crossword and horoscope businesses on Dec. 19 of last year.
