European outsourcing professionals will discuss the impact of an economic downturn on outsourcing in the United Kingdom at a meeting of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals' (IAOP™) London chapter this month.
Speaking on the economy will be Ken Wheeler, senior vice president business development, EMEA of Sitel, and PricewaterhouseCoopers' directors Alek Adamski and Thomas C. Brooks.
Pierre-Andre Dubois, partner of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP, a founding member of IAOP, will moderate a panel discussion following the presentations. As the new London chapter chairman, Dubois will provide an overview on how IAOP can help professionals build networks within the field and collectively advance outsourcing as a recognized and highly regarded profession.
The meeting will be held July 29, 8:30-10:30 a.m., at the Kirkland & Ellis International Office, 30 Mary Axe, London. It is free and open to users, advisors and providers of outsourcing services who are individual or corporate members of IAOP. Non-members are invited to attend as a guest of IAOP.
