HR Outsourcing sector continues to grow according to leading business advisory firm EquaTerra
EquaTerra’s European and Asia-Pacific HR Practice announce a series of significant new hires
For immediate release: The global HR Outsourcing sector continues to grow apace according to leading HR business advisory firm EquaTerra, which has seen a resulting and significant increase in the demand for it’s services in Europe and the Asia - Pacific.
In response, EquaTerra is pleased to announce the hiring of Bill Thomas to lead its European and Asia - Pacific HR Practice. Bill brings a rich and diverse set of professional experiences, and joins the company from Fidelity where he was Head of Global Outsourcing in HR Access. Prior to Fidelity, he spent fifteen years with the Ceridian Corporation; his last 5 years with the group as President of Multinational HR Services. Bill also sits on the board of the HROA and will be based in EquaTerra’s London office.
“Globalisation, combined with an economic downturn, is making for extremely difficult business conditions”, observed Bill Thomas. “For HR departments this is translating into the challenge of delivering critical administrative processes, such as payroll and recruitment, efficiently and effectively whilst wrestling with huge strategic challenges in areas like Talent Management. EquaTerra is extraordinarily well placed to help HR departments resolve these challenges.”
Further strengthening the European and Asia - Pacific HR Practice team are Synco Jonkeren, Antonio Russo and David Chan.
Synco Jonkeren (Principal Consultant; based in The Netherlands), is acknowledged as the global expert on HR – IT. He has spent the past 4 years at SAP, and previously enjoyed 10 years at Peoplesoft, in various European and Global leadership roles, during which time the company grew from 300 to 15,000 employees.
Antonio Russo (Principal consultant; based in Zurich) arrives at EquaTerra from IBM's Managed Business Processes, where he was a solution architect working on European and Global HRO deals. He previously worked at PwC Consulting & IBM Business Consulting supporting HR Transformation and HR Shared Service Centre projects.
David Chan (Principal Consultant; based in Singapore), joins EquaTerra from Convergys Employee Care where he was in charge of business development and delivery for the Asia - Pacific region.
